Will Steady Scoop clean my entire yard?+
Steady Scoop will clean any areas of your property with pet waste issues, including your front, back, and side yards. We will also clean flower beds, mulched areas, and dog runs, as needed.
Are your pet waste removal services available all year long?+
Yes! Steady Scoop will remove any pet waste from your yard, regardless of the time of year, even in the winter with snow on the ground.
How are you keeping my pets and property safe?+
Your dogs' safety is something we take seriously on every visit. We disinfect our tools and boots with a kennel-grade disinfectant before moving between yards, so there's no risk of tracking germs or illness from one property to the next. We double-check that every gate is latched shut on our way out because your dog's safety and containment matter to us just as much as they matter to you. And since Steady Scoop is owner-operated, the same person who shows up at your gate is the one accountable for getting it right, every time.
Where do you dispose of the pet waste?+
We make sure to double-bag all waste and dispose of it safely in the customer's own trash can.
Are you able to clean with my dog in the yard?+
Yes! As loving dog owners ourselves, we're happy to have your friendly pup outside while we work. That said, if your dog is anxious around strangers, territorial about the yard, or shows any signs of aggression, we do ask that they be left inside. We're happy to work around a schedule where they're inside, whatever's easiest for you and your pup.
How do I sign up for services?+
We've worked hard to make the process as simple and painless as possible. No quote requests and no waiting to hear back about pricing. Everything we do is fully transparent and easy! All you need to do is pick your desired plan on this page, fill out the form, and we'll add you to our schedule immediately. You'll get a text/email confirmation with your first scheduled service date, and the rest is on autopilot!
How do I pay for service?+
Stripe, our payment processing partner, will handle all your payments. You won't need to track down invoices or complete separate payment steps for each visit. We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay.
Do I need to be home when you arrive?+
Nope! While we would love to see you and say hello, you absolutely don't need to be home while we work. All that we ask is that you provide any important information needed (preferably during signup on the subscription form), such as gate codes, key usage, etc. We'll always leave the property exactly as we found it (minus the poop!), and you'll get a text with a picture confirming the job is complete every time.
Will you work in the rain/bad weather?+
While we will certainly show up for your appointment rain or shine, we will make exceptions for severe or inclement weather if it affects the quality of service we can provide. If your appointment is delayed or rescheduled for any reason, we will notify you ASAP.
